Derek Call Travel ConsultantBack to top As a member of a military family Derek has lived in and traveled to many points of the world, experiencing the cultures found throughout with profound curiosity. Born in the United States he spent his early years traveling from one coast to the other before spending his teenage years exploring Europe from his home base in Germany. His university years as a student of music, anthropology, and Spanish led him to a semester of study in Buenos Aires, where he fell utterly in love with the people and wildlife that encompass the country's landscape as a whole. Upon graduating he returned to live in the city that won his heart (and stomach!), for the culinary aspect of the Argentine people continues to captivate him as he travels through the country, gaining insight into the roots of the indigenous culture that have mixed with European influence to create a truly unique and inspiring place in the world.
