Before joining INSEAD, where he completed his MBA with distinction and met future business partner Parik Laxminarayan, Alex worked as a project leader (specializing in marketing and sales strategies) at Monitor Group, a top-tier strategy consulting firm. Alex has extensively traveled through South America and loves sharing his passion for the region.

Ingrid previously held the role of Marketing and Communications Manager at San Andres University in Buenos Aires. She has traveled through Argentina extensively and is proud and happy to share her country and continent with people from all over the world!

Christopher Raabe Travel Consulting Manager
Christopher is part Argentine (with Italian ancestry), part German and Swiss; speaks fluent German, English, Spanish and a bit of Italian and is therefore, truly and typically Argentine! with his background in guest relations management at the Hilton in Munich, where he worked prior to joining Enchanting-South America, Christopher enjoys interacting with people from different parts of the world and has traveled to every corner of Argentina, by car, plane, bus, foot and boat!

As the manager of this unique team, Sonia enjoys working with creative people who share, improve, capture, and analyze information which ultimately contributes towards the growth of the organization.

Padma Basethi Manager - Finance
Padma earned her Masters Degree in commerce from Goa University with Accounts & Finance as her specialization. Following postgraduation, she worked in finance, but soon found the travel industry was her calling, as it brought her into contact with many colleagues from diverse backgrounds and countries. Padma has worked for the past four years with Enchanting-Travels, managing the global accounts division. An avid reader and traveler, Padma brings a cheerful disposition and unwavering professionalism to her role in the Bangalore office.

Rajesh joined Enchanting-Travels in September of 2007, as a key member of the accounting and finance team at Enchanting-India. After earning his Master’s Degree in Communications in his hometown of Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, Rajesh has spent almost a decade in Accounts. He is also an avid cricket player and fan.

Nicola Le Rougetel Travel Consultant
Possessing a deeply adventurous spirit, Nicola has driven the length and breadth of South America in a 16 tonne truck, tour guiding and camping her way through Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. She has also spent many months working in a Bolivian orphanage, rescuing spider monkeys in the Amazon and twice been a contestant on the television program Total Wipeout, filmed in Buenos Aires. Originally from England and with a background in Textile Design, she has traveled the globe observing and learning about different weaving and dying techniques. However, it is in South America that Nicola feels most at home. She passionately loves the Latino spirit, diverse cultures and unparalleled landscapes that South America offers. Using her knowledge of this wonderful continent, Nicola is very much looking forward to helping you plan your dream trip.

Escaping the world of pictures at Christie’s auction house in London, where Sara worked for the Impressionist and Modern Art Department, she exchanged them for the real magnificently picturesque landscapes of South America. Originally from Wales, Sara came to Argentina on a unique cultural quest - to seek out the Welsh speaking Argentines of the Welsh colonies in the Chubut province. Apart from Welsh she also speaks English, French and Spanish. Unable to say goodbye to the South American sun, and utterly under the spell of Buenos Aires and its porteños, she decided to settle here after travelling to the Southern and Northern extremes of the country. She joins us as a Travel Consultant here at Enchanting-South America to share with you the magic of this vast and wonderful continent and to help you plan your trip of a lifetime.

Derek Call Travel Consultant
As a member of a military family Derek has lived in and travelled to many points of the world, experiencing the cultures found throughout with profound curiosity. Born in the United States he spent his early years travelling from one coast to the other before spending his teenage years exploring Europe from his home base in Germany. His university years as a student of music, anthropology, and Spanish led him to a semester of study in Buenos Aires, where he fell utterly in love with the people and wildlife that encompass the country's landscape as a whole. Upon graduating he returned to live in the city that won his heart (and stomach!), for the culinary aspect of the Argentine people continues to captivate him as he travels through the country, gaining insight into the roots of the indigenous culture that have mixed with European influence to create a truly unique and inspiring place in the world.

"Cleia's love for languages has led her to learn English, French and German (plus Argentina’s natural Spanish, of course); currently she is studying to become an English Interpreter in conferences.
